Company History
Over the years the firm broadened its specialization in accounting, administration and management for metropolitan districts and property owners associations for planned communities. The firm also provides tax, accounting and small business consulting services. In 1994, as a result of health problems experienced by Mr. Robertson, Ken Marchetti became the president of the firm. Mr. Robertson later retired and is now deceased.

Kenneth J. Marchetti, CPA
President
Ken Marchetti graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University in 1976 and started his career with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Company in Midland, Texas. He worked in both the audit and tax departments of Peat Marwick and then relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1980. In Denver, Mr. Marchetti initially worked in the oil and gas industry, first for Hamilton Brothers Oil Company and then for Sundance Oil Company, ultimately serving as Sundance's Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. To accommodate the financial needs of the primary shareholder of Sundance, it was liquidated in 1984. The domestic operations were spun out in a leveraged buy-out and the Canadian operations were sold to the Energy Department of the Province of Quebec in a $350 million transaction.
Following the liquidation of Sundance, Mr. Marchetti established a CPA firm in Denver, providing accounting and tax services primarily to the oil and gas, construction and homebuilding industries. The firm's key client was a Denver homebuilder, Richland Homes. Richland built approximately 50 homes per year in the late 1980s and grew to 300 homes per year in 1993.
In early 1994, Mr. Marchetti joined Mr. Robertson's firm in Eagle County, Colorado. Since 1994, Mr. Marchetti has been the managing partner, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, which handles the accounting, budgeting, and administration for metropolitan districts, property owners associations and golf courses.
Mr. Marchetti is a member of the American Institute and Colorado Society of CPAs and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association. He also serves on the boards of various business, civic and community organizations.
Eric Weaver, CPA
Vice President
Eric Weaver graduated from Adams State Colorado College in Alamosa, Colorado in the spring of 2003, with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Management Information Systems. He then worked for Chadwick, Steinkirchner, Davis & Co. in Grand Junction working as head auditor on several audited clients of the Firm as well as numerous other governmental and non-profit entities throughtout the state of Colorado.
Mr. Weaver joined the Firm in the spring of 2005 and became a shareholder of the Firm in 2009. His primary responsibilities for the firm include overseeing the accounting and administration for a number of metropolitan districts and associations.
Mr. Weaver is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association, and he American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Larry D. Lewis, CPA
Tax Manager
Larry Lewis earned his bachelor's degree with honors from Wheaton College in 1970 and obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago in 1972. Mr. Lewis initially worked for Ernst & Ernst in the audit department. He went on to work for CPA firms and with industry clients in the Chicago area. He headed the internal audit department of a publicly held firm and served as the Chief Financial Officer for various organizations. Mr. Lewis also owned his own CPA firm in the Chicago area before selling it and moving to Colorado in 1995.
Mr. Lewis began with Robertson & Marchetti in 1997 and is on contract with the firm to oversee its tax practice and the accounting for the non-public golf course clients and shares in responsibilities for several metropolitan districts.
Mr. Lewis is a member of the American Institute, Colorado Society and Illinois Society of CPAs and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association. Mr. Lewis also serves on the Boards of various business and civic associations.
April Heredia
Accounting Manager
April Heredia joined Robertson & Marchetti in 2011 to provide accounting and financial management services for its clients.
Debbie Braucht
Account Manager
Debbie Braucht graduated with honors in 1994 with an AAS Accounting Degree from Colorado Mountain College. Prior to graduation from CMC Ms. Braucht worked in the ski, hotel and restaurant industries in Lake, Summit and Eagle Counties. She has since worked in the Valley for the past 16 years in the areas of banking, construction and public accounting.
Ms. Braucht joined the firm in the fall of 2001 and works with numerous Special Districts and Homeowner Associations providing a full range of accounting, administration, and management services to these clients.
Ms. Braucht is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association.
Cheri Curtis
Account Manager
Cheri Curtis attended Colorado State University majoring in accounting. After college Ms. Curtis worked in the accounting department for Teledyne Water Pik, owned and operated a child care facility, and was the Business Manager for three different companies in Fort Collins prior to relocating to Edwards, Colorado.
Ms. Curtis joined Robertson & Marchetti in February 1995 as an account manager. She later moved to Georgia in 2004 and returned to Robertson & Marchetti in 2006. Ms. Curtis provides accounting and administration for special districts and homeowner association clients of the firm.
Ms. Curtis served for six years on the board of directors of Western Eagle County Metropolitan Recreation District, and continues to volunteer with several non-profit organizations.
Matt Jones
Account Manager
Matt Jones received his Bachelor of Science in Financial Management with a Minor in Accounting in 2003 from Clemson University. He went on to work for Intrawest, Inc. as an Accounting Clerk, and then on to Vail Cascade Resort and Spa as Account Manager from 2005 to 2008.
Mr. Jones began with the firm in April 2008. He is an Account Manager for numerous Metropolitan Districts and Homeowner Associations providing a full range of accounting, administration, and management services to these clients.
Kathy Lewensten
Account Manager
Kathy Lewensten has an associates degree in accounting and business from Midwest Business College. Her prior experience includes working at the Eagle County Clerk and Recorder’s office, in several accounting firms, as an office manager for an electrical contractor and in the main accounting office of a major retailer before working as an assistant controller for B & B Excavating from June 1991 through June 2000.
Ms. Lewensten joined Robertson & Marchetti in January 2001 and is an account manager for numerous districts and associations.
Cissy Olson
Account Manager
Cissy Olson received her bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University and has a long tenure of office management, administration and bookkeeping experience. She has lived in the valley for many years and worked in a variety of positions centered around accounting, bookkeeping, administration and management.
Ms. Olson joined Robertson & Marchetti in January 2004 as an account manager. She has worked with numerous special districts and homeowners associations providing accounting and administration for these clients.
Beth Ruark
Account Manager
Beth Ruark attended Asbury College and is a small business owner and entrepreneur in addition to working at the firm. She has many years of practical accounting and bookkeeping experience resulting in an advanced degree from the school of practical experience.
Ms. Ruark joined Robertson & Marchetti in 2007. She is our “resident expert” in property owners associations and handles many of the Firm’s Association clients.
